MIUI 12 is a very complete ROM, full of options and some other hidden function. Some of them are in the special functions section, but others, are active or inactive depending on the mobile we have. When opening the app The first thing we will have to do is select the ROM we use, since it will vary depending on whether we use MIUI 12, MIUI 12.5 or Xiaomi.Eu. The number of functions will depend on the ROM we use. In our case we have used a POCO F3 with the modified MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition ROM from Xiaomi.eu. If you use a Xiaomi with the stock ROM you will have even more options to activate, since the factory ROM is heavier.
With the app we can activate options as interesting as the IA HDR improvement, so that the videos are rendered with HDR effect, increasing the dynamic range each time we reproduce them. In the same way, we have the improvement of images by AI, which allows us to improve the colors of the photos in our gallery.
Another of the great points of the app is that we can change the operating mode of our Xiaomi. By default it will come in ‘balanced’, but we can change it to ‘performance’ to have an extra power in exchange for a little more energy consumption. This option is especially recommended for when we want to play.
In the event that you open any option and it closes, this means that this option is not available for your model. Xiaomi’s catalog is immense, and what you can activate will depend on the phone you have. We recommend that you spend some time with the app to discover everything it has to offer and, if a setting does not convince you, you just have to deactivate it.
