A storyline that is not limited to hunting monsters

The new title delves into the universe created by Sapkowski to offer full freedom to explore it. Real maps are moved to the screen after passing through the medieval cut filter that reigns in The Witcher. With what this implies: from knights wandering the roads to merchants who, unfortunately, lost their load due to the attack of some monster.

The setting of the game is very successful, also the creatures that populate it see their fierceness and deformities transferred to the smartphone screen. To end them, you will have to use all the wizard’s tricks, swords included; plus potions and signs. The set of elements will be expanded as we win battles, we can also make combinations to obtain new elements.

Each combat depends largely on the type of creature and also on how we equip our warlock. Some enemies will be weaker to certain attacks and elaborations, a feature that we must take advantage of. The game has seemed similar to Pokémon Go in terms of exploration and basic mechanics, but its developers have significantly expanded the variety thanks to the inclusion of missions, trophies and objectives within the game. This means that not only do you have to move to see creatures, you also have to locate specific points where you can complete a mission, for example. At the cost of walking, of course.
