When we buy Realme headphones, like the Realme Buds Air 2, or a bracelet like the Realme Band, we need a control center from which to manage these devices. We can always use them simply with the Bluetooth connection and without apps, but the experience will be more limited.
We are going to tell you how Realme Link works, the app to control the ecosystem of wearables and Realme devices. It is completely free, has no advertising and it helps us to access the most important functions of our devices.
This is Realme Link
Realme Link is the official Realme app to control our Realme devices through the phone. For example, if we use noise canceling headphones, we can use them by connecting them via Bluetooth as sound output, but we need to use the app to activate noise cancellation.
The first thing is to download the app. You can download it from the Play Store for free. The second thing is to authenticate ourselves. It will be necessary to give a phone number or an email. If you give your number, you will not need to remember your password.
Realme Link is divided into three sections: Home, Explore and Me. The home section is the one that keeps our home, that is, the list of devices that we have connected. We can connect our bracelet, watch, headphones, light bulb, smart camera, scale and even the Realme robot vacuum cleaner.
Once added to this Home, all you have to do is click on the device you have connected to access its functions. In case of server, with Realme Buds Air 2, I can configure noise cancellation, latency, bass and others. If we have other devices, we can control these settings.
If we go to the “explore” section we can create automations, something similar to the Google Assistant routines. So we can program, for example, that the light bulbs go out when we leave home, that are turned on at dusk, etc.
Finally, we have the ‘I’ section, in which we can activate the automatic detection of Realme devices, show connection status in notification bar, change the units of our bracelet or watch (weight, measurements, etc.) and even synchronize our data with Google Fit, in the event that we have saved sports records.
