Where do they put Madrid-Betis? And the Spanish GP?
Both through its website and its mobile app, JustWatch tells you where you can watch movies, series and programs from the catalog of Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney +, Apple TV and many other streaming platforms. It also includes online video stores such as Filmin, iTunes or Google Play Movies.
Now, launches a new sports section in Spain, UK, Germany, Italy and France. At the moment, yes, JustWatch Sports is only available in beta version through the web.
The JustWatch Sports interface is the same as that of its series and movies section, so that, at a glance, we can check the next matches and races, its schedules and where it will be broadcast each of them (Movistar Plus+ or DAZN, and in other countries, also Prime Video and Sky).
Its creators claim that more competitions and sports will be added in the coming monthsbut, for the moment, JustWatch shows us the Formula 1 grand prix and matches from the Spanish LaLiga, the German Bundesliga, the English Premier League, the Italian Serie A and the French Ligue 1, as well as the Women’s European Championship and UEFA Conference League.
To use JustWatch, you have two options, both free: create a personal account to personalize the experience with alerts and favorites lists, or enter without identifying yourself, simply indicating your country and the streaming services you have contracted.
In either case, it shows you a complete match guide that are being disputed at the moment and those that will be issued soon (you can consult by days). Don’t get your hopes up, the ‘Watch Now’ button doesn’t allow you to watch the game “face to face”, it only redirects you to DAZN or Movistar Plus+.
In addition, you have the possibility of activating notifications to receive an alert before the start of each match (you need to register for it). And soon it will be possible to track specific teams, tournaments or players.
There is another virtue of this streaming guide that has also been implemented in the sports section: its simple filter system so that, for example, we can check at a glance which matches can be seen on Movistar Plus+ or which ones will be broadcast by DAZN.
In short, JustWatch Sports is a free, complete and very intuitive tool to know where to watch each game or race, something very useful at a time when sports rights are increasingly fragmented.
Let’s hope that the stable version reaches the app in time for the start of the next season of LaLiga, the first in which DAZN and Movistar are going to share each day.
