Google Photos finally launches the ‘Your memories’ widget on Android

Google has decided to port its Photos widget from iOS to Android. With the latest update of the app, android users can incorporate a attractive widget to your desktops with the ability to scale. Through this element, the best memories of Google Photos will be shown.

As much as Google devotes more attention to Android, not in vain is its mobile operating system, there are times when offers more features to certain iOS apps. As published in XDA Developers, the latest update of Google Photos for Android incorporates the widget with the best memories saved in the gallery. All without the slightest complication: add the widget from the selector (press and hold on a free place on the desktop until the menu appears) and take it to the place you want.

The Google Photos widget has started to appear with the latest version of the Android app, number 5.52.0.0387241369 (released on August 2). It does not appear on all mobile phones and accounts, its deployment is progressive. We have been able to add it to an Android 11 (OnePlus Nord 2) and Android 12 (Google Pixel 4a).
