Google Chrome will allow you to open several different windows from Android 12

From Android Nougat, it is possible to open two pages at once with Google Chrome by taking advantage of Android’s split screen feature. Google is working on an even more powerful improvement, by which you can open multiple Google Chrome windows on Android.

At the moment the possibility of opening several instances of Google Chrome is available in the Dev and Canary versions of Google Chrome under Android 12, although it is foreseeable that it will end up reaching the official version. With this novelty, it will be possible to open until five different instances of Google Chrome, each of them appearing in the recent view.

Google is working on boosting the productivity of Google Chrome, allowing you open different windows, similar to how it happens on the desktop. This is something that in a way can be done from Android Nougat, but in a very limited way.

The main difference is that the option Move to another window, already present for a few years when you use the Android split screen, just move the current tab. You can have two web pages open at the same time, but one of them is simply a specific tab: you cannot open more tabs on it.
