Those who wish to access the benefits of Clubhouse no longer have to wait for an invitation: the social network of the audio rooms just opened their platform to anyone who wants to register an account. Goodbye to the main barrier to access the Clubhouse.
Few social networks have been as influential as Clubhouse recently. After a timid release on iOS, and a popularity that was favored by word of mouth, the audio rooms so characteristic of the platform ended up spreading from Twitter to Facebook. The restricted access of Clubhouse favored the copies, also that it was only in iOS. And, after the Android restriction disappeared, now it is the invitations that disappear.

The system of invitations to obtain access to the advantages of an application is not exactly new, giants like Gmail were born, precisely, with that system. Each person who enters with an invitation earns tickets to share as they remain in the service; thus expanding its use among your contacts while offering a certain halo of exclusivity.
Clubhouse maintained a significant restriction on its potential users, even after having grown in popularity and after more than a year in operation. The company assured that in summer the invitations system would be dispensed with to offer access to new users, and this limit has come to an end. This was communicated by the Clubhouse itself.
The process to open a new Clubhouse account has been greatly facilitated as you just have to do the following:
- Download the application to your phone. It is openly (and stable) available on Google Play.
- Open the installed app and enter your phone number. Clubhouse uses this number to confirm the account and also to search for contacts already on the platform.
- Enter the code that will have arrived by SMS and choose a username.
- Select who to follow from your contacts and voila: you are now inside the Clubhouse.
The service has taken the opportunity to renew its image by creating a new logo. In addition, it has communicated some recent figures that demonstrate its growth: Clubhouse gained 10 million users after its release on Android, even with the limited system of invitations; and I know
That the Clubhouse finally takes the burden off the invitations is great news for all those who they wanted to try it and they had no friends who were already inside. It remains to be seen if it will continue to grow into a leading social network, especially after the competition has included audio rooms among its functions.
