About a week after Android Auto 9.5 was released as a beta, the latest update is now available to everyone. In this way, users will be able to test this version without having to be part of the Android Auto beta program on Google Play or install it from the APK.
Android Auto 9.5 stable It arrives as the first Android Auto stable update of May and about three weeks after the previous one. As usual, we have tested it in search of new features.
Android Auto 9.5 is here
New version of Android Auto. Those who want to be up-to-date with Android Auto on their mobiles -and, therefore, also in their cars- can now do so in the easiest way possible: from Google Play. The update should have already reached most users. At least, to those who have automatic app updating activated on their mobiles.
We’ve been testing Android Auto 9.5 for what’s new and once again we’ve been unable to find visible changes. Some changes and news that we have been waiting for a long time, such as the adjustment to change the launcher app or the redesign of Material You of its settings, are still not active just for the mere fact of updating. They will arrive, or so we hope, later, through an activation from the server side.
Google has not updated the list of known Android Auto errors indicating that any of them have been corrected in particular in this version, although it would be normal for some to be included internal fixes and changes. It is also noteworthy that in a few days we will have the Google I/O event of the year in which Google could announce changes to Android Auto. These changes would already be in the latest versions, but pending to press “the red button”.
Android Auto 9.5 is already rolling out via Google Play so you should be able to update it like any other app. If it doesn’t appear, you can always install version 9.5.6318 from its APK on APKMirror.
